China stocks end lower Tuesday

Chinese stocks closed lower on Tuesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index diving 1.6 percent, or 38.64 points, to end at 2,382.91.

The Shenzhen Component Index plunged 2.5 percent, or 244.98 points, to 9,550.93.
