Chinese stocks close higher on Tuesday

Chinese stocks closed higher on Tuesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 0.21 percent, or 4.98 points, to end at 2433.13.

The Shenzhen Component Index rose 1.90 percent, or 185.15 points, to 9945.98.
