Chinese shares close lower Tuesday

Chinese shares closed lower on Tuesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index losing 0.56 percent, or 13.08points, to end at 2,315.14.

The Shenzhen Component Index moved down 0.28 percent, or 26.49 points, to 9,536.36.
