China's 2012 exports up 7.9 pct, imports rises 4.3 pct

China's exports rose 7.9 percent in 2012 compared with one year ago while imports increased 4.3 percent year on year, the General Administration of Customs said Thursday.

Foreign trade surplus widened to 231.1 billion U.S. dollars last year, 48.1 percent more than the level registered in 2011.
