Chinese shares end lower Monday

Chinese shares dropped on Monday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index down 1.03 percent, or 20.35 points, to 1,959.77.

The Shenzhen Component Index closed at 7,710.88, down 2.43 percent, or 192.38 points.
