Chinese stocks opened mixed on Wednesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index opening at 2,008.21, down 0.71 point, or 0.04 percent, from the previous close.
The Shenzhen Component Index opened at 8,055.64, up 2.86 points, or 0.04 percent.
