China stocks close lower Friday

Chinese stocks closed lower on Friday, as the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index dropped 0.12 percent, or 2.44 points, to close at 2,069.07.

The Shenzhen Component Index closed at 8,356.67, down 0.51 percent, or 42.71 points.
