China stocks close lower Monday

Chinese stocks closed lower on Monday, as the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index dropped 0.14 percent, or 3.02 points, to close at 2,114.03.

The Shenzhen Component Index closed at 8,654.74, down 0.29 percent, or 24.94 points.
