Chinese stocks closed slightly higher on Tuesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 0.17 percent, or 3.40 points, to 2,062.35.
The Shenzhen Component Index closed at 8,394.24, up 17.68 points, or 0.21 percent.
