Chinese stocks closed mixed Wednesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index gaining 0.07 percent, or 1.54 points, to finish at 2,115.99.
The Shenzhen Component Index closed at 8,653.91, down 32.57 points, or 0.37 percent.
