China stocks close lower Thursday

Chinese stocks closed lower on Thursday, as the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index dipped 0.76 percent, or 16.18 points, to close at 2,110.38.

The Shenzhen Component Index closed at 8,691.00, down 1.09 percent, or 95.73 points.
