Qinghai official probed for suspected serious violations

Mao Xiaobing, the Communist Party of China (CPC) chief of Xining, capital city of Qinghai province, is under investigation for suspected serious violations of discipline and law, Xinhua learned from the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection (CCDI) of the CPC late Thursday.

Mao is also a member of the standing committee of CPC Qinghai provincial committee.
