An earthquake measuring 4.8 on the Richter scale jolted Taiwan at 04:25:15 Hong Kong Time on Saturdy, the US Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 64.64 km, was initially determined to be at 24.6106 degrees north latitude and 121.616 degrees east longtitude.
