Matchmaking service uses decoy bachelor

A man surnamed Wang was brought to court on August 9, accused of cheating seven women out of more than 1 million yuan ($163,400) in the name of matchmaking, the Beijing Youth Daily reports.

Wang said that he was hired by the marriage service to date different women using different fake identities. The service then charged the women large sums of money. Wang dated more than 20 women.
