China's parliament to vote on cabinet members

Chinese legislators will vote on the nominations of members of the State Council, or the cabinet, at the ongoing national legislative session Saturday afternoon.

The nominees include vice premiers, state councilors, government ministers, governor of the central bank, auditor-general and secretary-general of the State Council.

Legislators will also vote on the candidates of the chairpersons, vice chairpersons and members of eight special committees of the 12th National People's Congress (NPC).
