Shopping mall catches fire in Harbin, casualties unknown

Fire broke out at a shopping mall Monday morning in northeast China's Harbin City, witnesses said.

Casualty information is unknown yet after the fire was spotted around 10:20 a.m. at the Guorun Furnishing Mall on the Xuefu Road, said a witness.

He said the mall had five storeys and flame could be seen, with smoke engulfing the first three storeys.

Over 10 fire fighting vehicles were working to put out the fire, and an ambulance has arrived, said the witness.
