Tensions between China, Japan scratch Japan's interests: Abe

Shinzo Abe, leader of Japan's Liberal Democratic Party (LDP), said here on Monday that tensions between China and Japan have scratched Japan's national interests.

Abe made the remark at the first official press conference in LDP's headquarters after his party won by a landslide in Sunday's general election.
