A court session for a case of assault and injury was postponed yesterday because the victim spotted one of his alleged attackers sitting in the gallery of the courtroom, the Legal Mirror reported yesterday.
The victim, surnamed Cao, met with Yang Jian in July 2010 because Cao suspected his girlfriend was having an affair with Yang. Yang and a few other men attacked and injured Cao with knives, said Tongzhou district prosecutors.
Cao alerted police yesterday morning after he saw the man in the courtroom.
