BEIJING -- The Chinese economy may see a soft landing, and domestic inflation could drop to as low as 4.5% by the end of the year unless there's a shock to food prices. IMF officials made these remarks at the seminar here in Beijing on Monday.
The officials say the Chinese economy should adapt to fast transitions of a possible global recession as well.
