(Ecns.cn)--On Qixi, or the Chinese Valentine's Day, Saturday, Huang Fengjuan, an eminent female kung fu master in Foshan, Guangdong Province, decided to find her Mr Right through a kung fu contest.
Huang, also known as the "Foshan swordswoman," is a celebrity in sports. Since the age of 11, she began learning kung fu, focusing on Longxing Quan and Baimei Quan of southern-style kung fu. Her master, nearly 80 years old, said Huang is one of his best students.
At 15, Huang became a coach and has trained hundreds of students up to now, among whom the oldest is 45, while the youngest only 7.
Huang has participated in various contests and won numerous awards.
However, as a woman, Wang has been lonely. "Over the years, I have been whole-heartedly focused on martial arts and never thought about love," she revealed, a little bashful.
Wang said since it is pretty hard to find a life partner, she decided to hold a kung fu contest, like what ancient swordswomen used to do.
